The phyCORE-i.MX8M Mini is a no-connector BGA SOM. The overall system cost is reduced by eliminating the need for connectors. It was designed with energy efficiency in mind utilizing LPDDR4, an advanced NXP Power Management IC (PMIC), and low power components such as a low power RTC.
