phyCORE®-AM62A
Low power edge computing module for machine vision and deep learning algorithms
Product Overview
The phyCORE®-AM62A is the latest addition to PHYTECs family of AM62x based System on Modules. With pin compatibility to the phyCORE-AM62x SOM, the phyCORE-AM62A can be used to add edge computing and analytics to your application.
Measuring in at 40 mm x 40 mm, this module is available in a 270-pin direct solder interconnect supporting common protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, UART, I2C, SPI but also 4-lane MIPI CSI camera with onboard vision and vision processing acceleration.
Early Access samples available end of March 2023. Contact us to learn more.
Features
Deep Learning Acceleration
Deep Learning Accelerator with on chip DSP (2 TOPS C7x256v)
Vision and Video Acceleration
4 Lane MIPI CSI camera with H264/H265 Video Encode/Decode up to 4k@30
Security
Work with PHYTEC to add Secure Boot to your application. All phyCORE-AM62A SOMs have the ability to burn security keys to the processor and establish root-of-trust by signing software images to ensure only trusted code is run on your device.
Real-time capable
Due to the heterogeneous architecture of the TI AM62A processor, you can run the majority of your application using Linux and off load critical components to the specialized low latency best-in-class real-time Cortex-R5 core.
