Cost-efficient and secure

At the heart of the phyBOARD®-i.MX6 UL is the industrial phyCORE-i.MX 6UL which is based on the NXP i.MX 6UltraLite processor. PHYTEC’s lowest power SOM to date, with power consumption under 500mW in idle mode, is well suited for energy-efficient and compact applications such as HMI, control systems, and IoT.

The NXP i.MX 6UL Series expands the i.MX 6 series by adding a high performance but ultra low power embedded processor which is based on ARM® Cortex®-A7 technology. Along with providing standard IO the i.MX 6UL applications processor also includes an integrated power management module.

Board Interfaces

The phyBOARD-i.MX 6UL SBC features dual 10/100Mbit RJ45 connectors, USB Host (Standard-A), USB-OTG (Micro-AB), 2×5 header for CAN, 2×5 header for RS232, uSD card slot. Display, Camera and additional pins are accessible through PHYTEC expansion connectors. 

Feature Rich

The phyCORE-i.MX 6UL SOM may be small in size, but it still retains many important features. Ethernet, SD/SDIO, CAN, USB, even a display and camera interface are all supported. Additional features without a dedicated connector on the phyBOARD-Segin can be accessed through the expansion connectors.

Software

PHYTEC Board Support Packages (BSPs) are software bundles that implement and support operating systems on our System on Modules. PHYTEC BSPs are application development-ready, offering all essential drivers and board-level feature support. The only task left for you is application integration. This way, you can focus on your core competencies while we take care of the rest.

Cost Optimized

The phyCORE-i.MX 6UL module and phyBOARD-i.MX 6UL have been optimized for cost. The connector has been omitted and replaced by edge solder connections. This method also makes integration and assembly easy without the need of special BGA processes.
