Features

Numerous SBC interfaces

The phyBOARD-i.MX 8M features a single 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet interface, USB 3.0 A-Host, USB 2.0 OTG, miniPCIe, two MIPI-CSI interfaces, μSD card slot, MIPI-DSI via the AV Expansion Connector, RS232 DB-9, and a general expansion interface.

Versatile multimedia features

The power of the phyCORE-i.MX 8M SOM is in the technology that NXP has packed into the processor. The SOM features excellent video quality with full 4K UltraHD resolution and HDR (Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG). The highest levels of pro audio fidelity with more than 20 audio channels each @ 384KHz, and DSD512 audio capability.

Software specifically designed for its hardware

PHYTEC Board Support Packages (BSPs) are software bundles that implement and support operating systems on our System on Modules. PHYTEC BSPs are application development-ready, offering all essential drivers and board-level feature support. The only task left for you is application integration. This way, you can focus on your core competencies while we take care of the rest.

The phyBOARD-i.MX 8M takes advantage of the phyCORE-i.MX 8M SOM’s cost optimized BGA footprint. No connectors means the integrated system costs less. Expansion connectors means that you can custom tailor the board to your application and only pay for interfaces that you need.
