Product Overview
The i.MX 95 processor family from NXP Semiconductors is designed for edge systems, machine vision, and AI-accelerated applications that require fast and reliable real-time decision-making. It combines Arm Cortex-A55 cores with Arm Cortex-M7 and -M33 co-processors, a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for AI computations, an Image Signal Processor (ISP), and integrated camera interfaces.
By combining AI, vision, and cloud functionality, the i.MX 95 enables real-time processing of sensor data and local decision-making in applications such as robotics, autonomous vehicles, and industrial automation. Advanced security features and broad software support make the i.MX 95 family a powerful and future-proof platform for smart, connected edge systems.

Edge AI Acceleration
The integrated eIQ Neutron NPU enables efficient AI inference directly on the device, delivering up to 2 TOPS of neural processing performance for machine learning workloads at the edge.
Advanced Graphics and Display Support
The phyFLEX-i.MX 95x supports multiple simultaneous displays with interfaces such as MIPI-DSI and LVDS, enabling high-resolution user interfaces and interactive visualization.
Vision Processing and Camera Integration
An integrated image signal processor (ISP) and high-speed MIPI-CSI camera interfaces support advanced imaging applications, including machine vision, robotics, and smart inspection systems.
High-Speed Industrial Connectivity
With PCIe Gen3, TSN-enabled Ethernet, USB, and CAN-FD, the module enables reliable connectivity for industrial automation, robotics, and edge infrastructure systems.

The i.MX 95 applications processor family delivers safe, secure, power efficient edge computing for use in aerospace, automotive edge, commercial IoT, industrial, medical and network platforms. It combines powerful AI-accelerated vision processing and immersive graphics abilities with functional safety, advanced security and high-performance connectivity.
The EdgeLock® Secure Enclave (Advanced Profile) provides advanced, future-proof security capabilities, enabling a post-quantum hardware root-of-trust and supporting hybrid mode (ML-DSA, ECDSA) for NXP signed Secure Enclave Firmware. It also enables fast secure boot, secure debug and update, real-time message signing, authentication and encryption for secure communications, and more.
