phyCORE®-AM62x-DSC
Low power, high performance for multimedia applications
Product Overview
The phyCORE®-AM62x-DSC is a scalable system on module designed to be deployed in a wide variety of embedded applications from edge computing devices to industrial HMIs and to headless gateways. This SOM is functionally the same as the phyCORE-AM62x but in direct solder footprint without connectors for cost reduction. The 40 mm x 40 mm form factor module is shipped in reels for easy pick-and-place. The 0.8mm pitch 270-pin interconnect supports common protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, UART, I2C, SPI but also rich multimedia with dual display, MIPI CSI-2 camera, and audio.
Features
Advanced Multimedia Capabilities
On chip GPU, dual display, MIPI CSI-2, and audio. Need HDMI? Use a validated PHYTEC reference circuit to add to your system.
Mainline Linux
PHYTEC commits to upstream support of the phyCORE-AM62x System on Module. With support for the TI AM62x processor already available in the Linux kernel, PHYTEC extends this commitment by supporting the SOM in both U-Boot and Linux.
Security
Work with PHYTEC to add Secure Boot to your application. All phyCORE-AM62x SOMs have the ability to burn security keys to the processor and establish root-of-trust by signing software images to ensure only trusted code is run on your device.
Cost Optimized
The direct solder version of this phyCORE-AM62x SOM completely eliminations the connector costs.
