Product Overview

The industrial phyCORE-i.MX 6UL is based on the NXP i.MX 6UltraLite and i.MX 6ULL applications processors. PHYTEC’s lowest power SOM to date, with power consumption under 500mW in idle mode, is well suited for energy-efficient and compact applications such as HMI, control systems, and IoT. The SOM has been designed with solder contacts around the outside for easy integration and reduced system cost.

Features

Direct Solder Connect

Signals are routed to solder contacts around the outside edge of the PCB. The SOM can be purchased in reels and soldered down just like any other component in your Bill of Materials.

Customization Options

Select exactly what you need for your application by scaling the processor up to 792 MHz, RAM up to 1GB, selecting between NAND or eMMC flash, and other population options. All options provide a pin compatible interconnect.

Tiny

Dimensions of 36 mm x 36 mm make the SOM well suited for small enclosures. No additional space for heat sinks or shields due to low power and low EMI design.

Feature Rich

The phyCORE-i.MX 6UL may be small in size but it still retains many important features including dual Ethernet, SD/SDIO, CAN, USB, display and camera.

The i.MX 6UL Processor

The NXP i.MX 6UltraLite and 6ULL series expands the i.MX 6 series by adding a high-performance but ultra low power embedded processor which is based on Arm® Cortex®-A7 technology. Along with providing standard IO the applications processor also includes an integrated power management module.
