QUESTION: What made you want to get into your field?
I kind of fell into the bookkeeping role while working for a real estate developer right out of college. My degree focus was in sustainable development/transportation.
QUESTION: What is your favorite thing about being a woman?
Honestly, being a woman is hard and often meeting societal expectations are impossible, but I love sisterhood, camaraderie and inspiring one another to “just do you” and ignore the outside pressures.
QUESTION: What woman inspires you and why?
Michelle Obama; her grace and vision to lead and inspire young women to dream bigger is what we need in our society today.
QUESTION: Are there any assumptions about women that you would like to change and why?
Bossy little girls are bad…I think we need more bossy little girls to have the grit and guts to make big changes when they grow up.

Owning and embracing society’s need for them step into the highest leadership roles to help guide and shape the future for the better.
