QUESTION: What is your position at PHYTEC?
Customer Service Technician

QUESTION: What made you want to get into your field?
I like learning new things, at PHYTEC I get to learn new things all the time and have filled many different roles in the last 11 years.

QUESTION: What is your favorite thing about being a woman?
I am strong, powerful, resilient, smart and funny.

QUESTION: What woman inspires you and why?
Brene Brown because she is brilliant. Her work is revolutionary and world-changing.

QUESTION: Are there any assumptions about women that you would like to change and why?
We are not less. Skills, determination, character qualities, intelligence, wisdom, strength are not gender specific. All humans are capable of more than they think, worthy of love, and have the ability to choose right from wrong.

“We are not less. Skills, determination, character qualities, intelligence, wisdom, strength are not gender specific.”

QUESTION: What do you believe will be the biggest challenge for the generation of women behind you?
To be free to be who you are. You don’t have to be a rich business woman in a suit if you want to work at home or raise children, you don’t have to stay at home if you want to be an engineer, a doctor, a firefighter, a police officer, a business owner, a waitress, or anything you desire. Also, our work does not have to define us. Life and identity is a lot more complex than a job, a family, or a gender.

QUESTION: What advice would you give a woman who wants to enter the same field as you?
Work hard, be humble, be willing to do any job, practice problem solving and learn how to be self-motivated.
