phyCORE-AM3517 Overview
The phyCORE-AM35x supports the Texas Instruments’ AM3517 and AM3505 Sitara ARM Cortex A8 high-performance, industrial applications processors. The AM3517 MPU has a 600-MHz ARM Cortex™-A8 Core with NEON™ SIMD Coprocessor and Vector floating point (FP) co-processor. The AM3517 also boasts a POWER SGX™ Graphics Accelerator Subsystem for 3D graphics acceleration, a display subsystem enabling multiple concurrent image manipulation and a programmable interface which supports a wide variety of displays - making the AM3517 ideal for high-performance video, imaging, and graphics intensive applications. The phyCORE®-AM3517 SOM also supports the AM3505 MPU.
