DigitalHydraulic, a French company specializing in bionic technology, developed an artificial "pneumatic muscle" crane arm that was utilized by the French company Rousseau.  The PHYTEC miniMODUL-515C was implemented in this application, chosen for its programmable CAN and ample number of Input and Output capabilities within the trusted 8051 architecture.
