AM3517 SOM Description

The phyCORE-AM3517 System on Module (SOM) is a production-ready hardware and software solution that enables engineers to shorten time-to-market, reduce development costs and avoid substantial design risks. Also referred to as a Computer on Module (COM), the phyCORE-AM35x supports the Texas Instruments’ AM3517 and AM3505 Sitara ARM Cortex A8 high-performance, industrial applications processors. AM3517 highlights include a POWER SGX™Graphics Accelerator Subsystem for 3D graphics acceleration, a display subsystem with several features for multiple concurrent image manipulation and a programmable interface supporting a wide variety of displays.
