SBC Module Description

This piggy-back adapter board adds Ethernet capability to 16-bit phyCORE modules (phyCORE-XACx and phyCORE-XAGx) with low density (LD) header pin connectors. Populated with the Cirrus Logic CS8900A Ethernet controller, the adapter also offers transmitter magnetics, an RJ-45 socket and a transmission rate of up to 10MBit/s.

SBC Module Features

16-bit full duplex Ethernet piggy-back adapter in 55 x 48 mm dimensions for mounting on 16-bit phyCORE modules (phyCORE-XACx and phyCORE-XAGx) with low density (2.54) header pin connectors
populated with Cirrus Logic CS8900A Ethernet controller offering 10 MBit/s transmission speed, 10 Base-T Port
RJ-45 socket
all relevant digital signals extend to two three-row pin header connectors (2.54 mm pitch)
DS2401 Serial Silicon Number for network identification purposes
EEPROM for storage of configuration data, on-chip RAM for send and transmit packets
