Kit Description
The phyCORE SBC module is designed to be plugged into a PHYTEC Carrier Board. The PHYTEC Carrier Board contains the I/O connectors as well as any other interface circuitry not provided on the phyCORE module itself. The phyCORE module, combined with the PHYTEC Carrier Board, provides a platform to jump start embedded designs and propel concept to prototype and finished product.
- DIPmodul-164 Single Board Computer module
- Carrier Board MM-993 enabling immediate start-up of your module
- AC adapter
- DB-9 serial cable
- PHYTEC Spectrum CD-ROM, including software (evaluation version), electronic documentation, PHYTEC FlashTools and demos
- Guaranteed Start-Up: PHYTEC guarantees successful start-up of all example programs on the Spectrum CD-ROM
Carrier Board
The DIPmodul/CANopen Chip Carrier Board, in EURO-card dimensions (160 x 100 mm), provides a flexible development platform enabling quick and easy start-up and subsequent programming of Single Board Computer modules in DIP-40 dimensions. The Carrier Board design allows easy operation of the implemented module in a Controller Area Network (CAN) bus system and connection of additional expansion boards featuring various functions that support fast and convenient prototyping and software evaluation. The DIPmodul/CANopen Chip Carrier Board is mounted with all necessary hardware components - including 4x push buttons, 4x user programmable LEDs, 2x potentiometers, a DB-9 socket for RS-232 and a DB-9 plug for CAN connectivity - required for quick and solder-free start-up and operation of the implemented module with user-designed software.
