The PCANopen Magic family of products provides easy-to-use yet sophisticated utilities for accessing and controlling nodes on a CANopen Network with low cost CAN interfaces from PEAK System Technik. All versions allow read and write accesses to the process data and the configuration variables of CANopen nodes. A CANopen trace display shows current messages on the CAN bus along with their CANopen interpretation and an automated Network Scan feature identifies nodes on the network. The professional versions of PCANopen Magic provide advanced features such as a high-resolution timestamp, EDS support with Object Dictionary browsing, dynamic PDO configuration and advanced scanning and network overview windows. The Professional S version and the DS bundle further add real-time simulation including I/O visualization of fully customizable nodes.

Timings of message transmissions can be observed, allowing comparison against network specifications. Nodes may be quickly and easily configured and test messages generated with a minimum of effort.
