Signum Systems
OCDS Debugger Offering High Performance-Price Ratio and Ease-of-Use
JTAGjet Emulator
The Signum JTAGjet is a real-time, transparent in-circuit emulator based on the JTAG boundary scan port. The emulator comes with a USB 2.0 port host-PC connection offering optimized communication speeds and convenience. A fast (EPP mode) parallel LPT connection to a PC host is optionally available. With the add-on ICE-Server software, the emulator may be used for debugging targets in remote sites over the TCP/IP network. The JTAGjet comes with the powerful Chameleon Debugger software. As a base for your own development, the JTAGjet includes ready-to-run C demo programs, test macros, compilation batch files and configuration settings for PHYTEC target boards.
- ARM, XC16x/C166S, OMAP, TMS320 & TriCore support
- Ultra-fast downloads exceeding 500 KB/sec
- Real-Time Embedded Trace (ETM) support
- 512 KB or 1 MB trace buffer with time stamp
- USB2 connection to host-PC (optional LPT)
- Remote debugging over TCP/IP networks
- C, C++ and assembly level debugging
- Broad compiler compatibility
- Integrated Flash programming
- Multiple cores handled on the same screen
- Windows 98, NT, 2000 & XP compatible
- Deployment readiness: verified for "out-of-the-box" operation with the phyCORE-XC161, phyCORE-XC167 and phyCORE-ARM7/AT91
Chameleon Debugger
The Chameleon debugger is designed for a variety of hardware emulation interfaces to target boards (JTAG, BDM, ICE, STAG) through a variety of communication channels to the host-PC (COM, LPT, Ethernet, USB). The Chameleon Debugger provides a consistent user interface to an embedded project at all stages of the development cycle… from CPU evaluation to production testing. Chameleon supports many different CPUs and offers the latest debugging features, such as fly-over variable watch, drag and drop variables, Virtual I/O, complex variable implode/explode, script language for automatic testing, symbol browsing, trace window, and more. Step-into, Step-out and Step-over modes are supported for both C and assembly levels. The Flash programming plug-in allows programming of nonvolatile memory on target boards with ease. The unique Chameleon graphical interface quickly handles complex events and is intuitive and incredibly easy to use.
- Works seamlessly with a number of third party debuggers
- Ideal for homogeneous and heterogeneous Multi-Core and Multi-CPU targets (SoC) with optional support for ARM, XC166 and other processors
- Remote debugging over TCP/IP networks
- Virtual I/O to give the target CPU access to the host PC console and disk files during development
- Graphical virtual I/O devices (VIPER) to targets to speed-up debugging of prototypes.
- Drag and drop variables and addresses between windows
- Trace window with customizable columns, filters and queries (with optional ETM module)
- Time stamping on all trace entries with CPU cycle resolution (with optional ETM module)
